Integrating Google Drive

Details on connecting your Google Drive account to pull in content

Our cloud storage integrations are a great option when you want to easily bring in content from other sources, without having to first download to your device.

Installation of Google Drive Integration

1. Log in to your Enable Us account.

2. Click on your avatar or initials in the top right to go to Personal Settings > Integrations.

3. Click 'Connect' to the right of the Google Drive integration.

4. Log into your Google account if you aren't already logged in and click 'Authorize' to approve the connection.

You can also make the initial connection directly while going through the flow of adding Google Drive content into the Library or Rooms.


Using Google Drive Integration

To upload content to the Library:

1. Click the 'Upload Content' button and then select the 'Google Drive' tile.

2. Select any files you would like to upload by selecting the checkbox to the left of the title and then click the 'Select' button. Our integration shows files that you own and any that have been shared with you. You can find content by navigating through folders or using search.

3. Update the "Content name" if desired, if you want to sync content updates from Google Drive to Enable Us, and then click to 'Upload'. When 'Upload' is selected, that is when Enable Us will access the designated content from Google Drive and upload it into the platform.

To upload content to the Room:

1. In the Review step of creating a room, click '+ Add To Room' and select the option to 'Upload to Room'. This will add the content only to the room you're working on versus adding the content to the Library for future use.

2. Select the 'Google Drive' tile on the Upload screen and then select any files you would like to upload and then click the 'Select' button.

3. Update the Content name if desired, select the section to add the Google Drive content into, and then click to 'Upload'. You cannot set up sync options for content uploaded into the room directly.


Uninstallation of Google Drive

1. Log in to your Enable Us account.

2. Click on your avatar or initials in the top right to go to Personal Settings > Integrations.

3. Under the Google Drive section, click on 'Disconnect' next to your email.
