Integrating Gong

With the Enable Us integration with Gong, you can easily add Gong recordings to your Library and Rooms with ease by following the steps below:

Installation of Gong Integration

1. Log in to your Enable Us account.

2. Click on your avatar or initials in the top right to go to Personal Settings > Integrations.

3. Click 'Connect' to the right of the Gong integration.

4. Log into your Gong account if you aren't already logged in and click 'Authorize' to approve the connection.

Note: Users must have Technical Administrator-level access in Gong to install the integration and access calls. If users do not have this level of access, they will receive an 'Insufficient Permissions' error.

An Admin with Technical Administrator access in Gong must connect their Gong account in Enable Us under Organization Settings > Integrations > Cloud Storage.


Using Gong Integration

To upload content to the Library:

1. Click the 'Upload Content' button and then select the 'Gong' tile.

2. Select any files you would like to upload and then click the 'Select' button.

3. Update the "Content name" if desired and then click on 'Upload'.

To upload content to the Room:

1. In the Review step of creating a room, click '+ Add To Room' and select the option to 'Upload to Room'. This will add the content only to the room you're working on versus adding the content to the Library for future use.

2. Select the 'Gong' tile on the Upload screen and then select any files you would like to upload and then click the 'Select' button.

3. Update the Content name if desired, select the section to add the Gong recording into, and then click on 'Upload'.


Uninstallation of Gong Integration

1. Log in to your Enable Us account.

2. Click on your avatar or initials in the top right to go to Personal Settings > Integrations.

3. Under the Gong icon, click on 'Disconnect' next to your email. The screenshot below shows where the Gong connection is under Integrations.

If an admin connected the organization Gong account under Organization Settings > Integrations, they will need to disconnect the organization integration as well.


Troubleshooting

1. Your Enable Us account email must match your Gong account email to connect.

2. Your Gong account must only belong to one workspace to connect.

3. When selecting a call, we only show your non-private calls & calls in Public Folders.

4. We don't show any calls set as private, even if they are your own calls.

5. We don't show calls from your Team or Company unless they're yours or in Public Folders.
